The English Premier League season is looking more exciting than ever this year, and at the end of March it's still not really clear who will win the title this year. However, there are obviously three realistic candidates. So let's take a brief look at each of them.
"Manchester City. The champion of the last three years is looking to defend its title once again. Pep Guardiola's men play amazing football and have the best squad. However, this season the team has been plagued by injuries quite often and has not been able to gain an advantage over its rivals. This season's game doesn't look as confident as last year's, so City are facing a lot of resistance.
"Liverpool. After the unsuccessful last season, Liverpool looks very strong again. In the winter, coach Jurgen Klopp announced that he would leave in the summer. And that could be a unifying message for the team. This strategist is really appreciated and respected and everyone in the organisation would like to see him leave on a winning note. "Liverpool's chances would look even better if the team were not constantly plagued by injuries. At the moment, a whole host of players are out.
"London Arsenal. This team is slowly returning to its glory days. Coach Michael Arteta is helping them to do so. "Arsenal started to show signs of recovery last year, when it led the championship for a long time. However, the end of the season was not a success. This year, Arsena looks quite confident again and shows much more maturity. If they were to win, it would be a surprise, but it is certainly not impossible.
